Performance Adjustable Billet Diverter Valve
Our Performance Adjustable Billet Aluminum Diverter Valve (DV) is machined from 6061 Billet aluminum. Comes with all necessary fittings to install. Also comes with street (light) and race (heavier) spring for more or less boost. This DV is not a blow off valve, however it will sound the same. Cold air intakes will increase the volume, giving your car that ‘Whoosh’ sound. This DV redirects the air back into the turbo charge inlet allowing the turbo to spool up faster between shifts. The valve holds more boost and releases it all at once, unlike the OEM plastic and cardboard counterpart. The OEM VW, Audi or Porsche valves tend to wear out overtime and will eventually fail, which will damage the turbocharger and engine. Same exact design as the Forge 007 and Agency Power performance diverter valves.

This DV needs very little maintenance, clean every 10,000 to 20,000 miles or once a year. After a year of use, unscrew the top and remove the spring and piston. Inspect to see how dirty the internals are. If there is minimal debris or not dirty at all, you will know how often you need to maintain the valve. You may not need to at all. Using a cleaner, such as brake cleaner, wipe the internals, piston and spring down. After wiping clean, apply very thin coat of engine oil or chain / cable oil to the internal components. Then reassemble the Billet Aluminum Diverter Valve in reverse order. Note, do not clean the rubber o-ring with brake clean, simply wipe clean with a dry cloth.
